Seniors Baseball All-Stars State Tournament Update

At the state tournament at Harper Woods today, Southern's Seniors Baseball All-Stars defeated Saginaw 4-2 in the first game of pool play. Casey Horjus had a two run double, Mike Clifford was 3-3, and Noah Salasky was 2-3. Ryan Dayton stole home to score the go-ahead run. Joel Dayton pitched 4 innings allowing just one run while striking out four. Sam Jansen pitched the final 3 allowing one run on two hits with two strikeouts. The next game of pool play is Friday.
