Make-Up Games in Minors Baseball: Billo, Rosmarin, VanGessell, Sova

We have rescheduled two rained out games in the minors baseball schedule:

• Teams Billo & Rosmarin:
• Your make-up game will be played on Friday, June 17, at 6:00pm on the West Field.
• Teams VanGessell & Sova:
• Your make-up game will be played on Friday, June 17, at 6:00pm on the East Field.

Baseball players in Big League have been assigned to their teams for the summer season. You can view those by clicking on the Rosters link on the right sidebar of the website. Coaches should be contacting players soon.

We have made changes to the juniors softball schedule:

• The game originally scheduled for Thursday, June 9, has been canceled.
• On Monday, June 13, we have added a double-header starting at 6:00pm at the JC West field.

Dear Southern Family,

Another year, another Family Day, and, of course, RAIN. That did not put a damper on the day's festivities. On behalf of the Southern Board, I would like to thank all of the volunteers who spent countless hours volunteering as well as the coaches. If you have family members and friends that participate in other leagues and you have a chance to compare notes about the respective leagues, be proud of Southern Little League. We should all be proud to be part of the best Little League in West Michigan.

TODAY is Family Day!

Saturday, June 4, is Family Day. Dozens of ball games and lots of other activities will be going on all day long, so bring the whole family - Grandma, Grandpa, aunts, and uncles.

Join us for lunch or dinner, and enjoy our expanded menu:

• Marinated sirloin steak-on-a-stick
• Chicken sandwiches
• Pulled pork sandwiches
• Hamburgers, jumbo hot dogs and fresh brats from Ken's Market
• Famous sauteed onions and all your favorite condiments
• Corn-on-the-cob

Activities for the kids:  free!

• Double water slide
• Bounce land

Raffle:

• Reminder: Please sell your raffle tickets and turn in the money and stubs before the deadline at 2:00pm on Saturday. Look for the raffle table near the concession stand.
• The big raffle drawing will take place at 7:00pm.

All-Star Games:

• Plan on staying for the Minors and Majors Baseball All-Star Games at 7:30pm.
